As part of the video coverage for the 2009 NCVS conference, we were tasked with taking the live video feed from the conference, editing it, and posting it on YouTube within minutes of the speaker leaving the stage so that bloggers could comment and spread coverage of the event. The NCVS conference featured speakers such as Michelle Obama, Arnold Swarzenegger, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Bon Jovi and many more. Execution of the video editing and uploading within the required time required a highly efficient system as well as the ability of the crew to handle the pressure of the live event without making mistakes.
