Short form direct response commercials are typically 1 or 2 minutes in length. The strategy of selling a product with a DR spot is much different than selling a product through a full length infomercial, and typically short form spots are best for products that are easy to explain and demonstrate their benefits in a very short period of time. Also, spots work well for products that have already been established and branded.
